A way of moving through change.
Active Transition
How can we be present in times of change without the weight of preconceptions, or projecting ourselves onto an emerging reality?
What is the difference between what you don't want to lose and what you can let go of?
What it is
A way of acting — adapting consciously to change, seeking dynamic balance in life, with gentleness and full attention to the present moment.
Where it comes from
ACTIVE TRANSITION appeared as an insight — one of those ideas that arrive and stay. I have lived with it ever since: interpreting, reflecting, asking what sense it makes and how it exists in practice. It runs through everyday life in simple thoughts and conscious attitudes, and reaches all the way to great changes and adaptations.
Today I realize that these two words, which alone already carry so much meaning on their own, brought together form a third and powerful call for me — a way of seeing and living in the world. That is what I am materializing in a few formats, experiences and expressions.
Accepting that the continuous transition we live be experienced actively: observing without fears, and allowing oneself to be transformed by the present.
— Igor Botelho
We are in transition. We always have been and always will be. But there is no more time, nor space, to let ourselves be carried by the waves of change. We must be active and conscious, consistent and coherent in our choices. Today is the only possibility we have to be who we came here to experience being.
Every day we live the catalysis of the past in the present, which influences the manifestation of the future, in this beautiful condition we name infinity.
The way of life we choose now is the new reality we will taste. Neither inside nor outside the operating systems: when we are active in our own transition, we live reality. Not a parallel or alternative reality — the truth. Each of us has their own, their codes, their path.
